Chiropractic Value Disney Style

My family and I recently returned from another trip to one of our favorite destinations; Disney World. When I say my wife Chris is a Disney nut, the description fails do it justice. The fact that when we were married, no other location for the wedding other than Disney could be discussed should give you a clue as to what kind of fanatic she really is.
She, the kids, and the babysitter, usually leave me in the dust once their feet hit the ground. I give out long before their little legs ever do. This always leaves me sitting on various park benches throughout the expanse of Disney world.
Let me assure you that just because we are considered to be in one of the worst recessions in history doesn’t mean people aren’t spending money. I grew up in Florida, which meant going to Disney was just something we did on the weekends. However, in the hundreds of times I have been I had never seen crowds at Disney as I did just this past month.
One of my favorite things to do at Disney is not the Rock ‘n’ Rollercoaster or getting wet on Splash Mountain. No, my favorite thing to do is sit on a bench with eyes closed and imagine the amount of money that is swirling around me. When you consider the tickets, refreshments, meals, merchandise, hotel rooms, airfare and so on, there would be 100’s of millions of dollars being spent in that one park alone! Not to mention they have three other parks, along with two water parks and the downtown Disney shopping district. This exercise is a good action step to help people realize that even in recessions people don’t stop spending money but rather they pull their resources in and spend that money on what they deem valuable.
Chiropractic has always done well in economic down times. History has shown us that! The fact is chiropractic delivers more for the dollar than any other discipline in the health care field. The doctors of AMC have just finished an all-time record year in growth and, more importantly, in people served. And this is because they understand the principle I am sharing with you now and they have mastered the skills it takes to help their patients understand the value in chiropractic care.
This proves that if the doctor can communicate the real VALUE of chiropractic then the chiropractor can succeed in all times. Truth stands the tests of time! If a mouse named “MICKEY” can do it, so can you!
Are there any other Disney survivors out there? And, have any of you been to Disney and utilized the visualization exercise I described?

Loved the pic Tom! Thank you for allowing us to see your beautiful family.
Also, I want to let you know how thankful I am for you, and the wisdom & love you pour out to chiropractors (and their families) everyday. Patrick’s decision 9 years ago to attend an AMC Bootcamp was a game changer for our family– one of the best decisions he’s ever made! Can’t imagine where we would be today if he hadn’t made that call.
Be encouraged today Tom, there are many more chiropractors out there who need these invaluable business principles and will be forever changed because of your devotion to this profession.
