Chiropractic Keeps Transforming Lives

I just love sharing these great examples of what chiropractic is really about. When I heard this story myself from my close friend Dr. Greg Miller from the great state of Nebraska I thought everyone would be inspired as well if i shared it. This is what it is all about!! I hope you enjoy.

Connor first came to my office when he was 17 years old and a junior in high school. He was suffering from a condition that the medical profession calls Chron’s disease. I am sure that all those reading this particular article know what that is, but for the sake of brevity let me just tell you that he had suffered for four years with diarrhea, terrible stomach cramping and pain, and many sleepless nights. The MD’s answer to this condition was to treat him with a number of different medications that had side effects that caused symptoms nearly as painful as the condition itself. When I first met Connor his face was swollen from the steroids and he simply looked “defeated”. He has just come from another series of treatments at Children’s Hospital in Omaha, NE. He had to endure numerous colonoscopy’s, IV’s, injections, etc. He was given a series of Remicade injections that were specific for the treatment of the symptoms of Chron’s and are incredibly expensive. His mother related to me that they had heard about our clinic and that we had had some success in the treatment of another young man with the same symptoms. They were desperate, as the doctor’s next step was to simply remove his colon! This was supposed to take care of the problem and gain him some normalcy. Connor had missed more days of school in the last four years than he had been able to attend. I don’t need to tell you the rest of the chiropractic story, except to say that after a course of treatment Connor was back at school daily, off ALL medications, still has his colon, and is living life as it was supposed to be lived….HEALTHY!

How great it is to serve such a wonderful profession that literally changes and transforms lives. This young man will have the opportunity to live a long and fruitful life because of chiropractic!!!!
