Lessons From a Courtroom for Chiropractors – Part 2

A very wise man once taught me that the absolute best way to end a pity party is to get the focus off of yourself and get it on to the service and helping of others. What other profession gives you the opportunity better than chiropractic to help and serve others? You may try to say to yourself that you have no hope but as a chiropractor your hope will always be found in the helping of others. As long as you have breath then their is hope in your situations. You may have to surround yourself with the right people that support and encourage you with the right advise but make know mistake about it, ALL chiropractors have HOPE because there are millions to serve. In my arena, I see broken and “hopeless” chiropractors every month at our conferences. We then see them just a few short months later bright eyed and prospering because we helped them to prosper mentally, physically, spiritually and financially by assisting them in fulfilling their purpose as a chiropractor, which is to serve others. I know there are some tough situations out there but be encouraged today with the fact that you have the capabilities no matter your lot in life to get your focus off of yourself and onto the helping of others. You will be better off if you do. I have never seen a celebration with balloons and streamers at a pity party, Have you? There are people out there that are willing to help you to achieve your dreams but none of them can do it as long as your focus is on your own plight. They can only help when your focus is on your PURPOSE of helping others.
I actually would like to share another very important lesson I learned that day in court with you on our next visit. I think you will find it to be very profound. I look forward to visiting with you then.
